Pete McBride is a Sony Artisan of Imagery who traveled to 75 countries documenting remote expeditions from Everest to Antarctica before turning his attention to is backyard jewel, the Colorado River. Kevin Fedarko spent 20 years writing about adventure, conservation, and exploration for National Geographic, the New York Times, and Esquire. He published two New York Times bestsellers on the Grand Canyon. His book A Walk in the Park, won the 2025 Andrew Carnegie medal for nonfiction. Together they teamed up to hike the entire length of Grand Canyon National Park, without a trail, to highlight this iconic landscape. Their journey is documented in Grand Canyon: Between River and Rim, as well as Pete’s feature-length documentary, Into the Canyon, nominated for an Emmy Award.
